• Advising on trademark registration possibilities, including preliminary searching and clearing
• Preparing and filing trademark applications with the Patent office of the Russian Federation and any Patent Offices of other countries
• Providing with any legal support during trademark examination stages, including reporting of trademark registration, forwarding trademark certificate and opposition proceedings
• Maintaining and renewing trademark registrations
• Preparing and filing international trademark applications according to the Madrid system of international trademark registration, providing with legal support before the WIPO and national patent offices
• Negotiating, drafting and applying to the Patent Office for registration, modification and termination of licensing, assignment and franchising agreements
• Representing clients in trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, negotiating and litigating trade mark and trade name disputes in the Camber for Patent disputes, Anti-Trust authorities and commercial (arbitrazh) courts
• Providing validity and infringement opinions
• Providing transaction advice and due diligence in the evaluation and management of intellectual property in acquisitions, mergers, financings and bankruptcies

List of information we need for filing trademark application

• at least one clear representation of the logotype (preferably in electronic form) ,
• the list of products/services in respect of which the registration is being claimed
• the Power of Attorney (simply signed, see below),
• full Applicant's details (address, full name, nationality, etc.)
• If a trademark is to be filed in the name of an individual we would need an official confirmation that such person is recorded as "an individual businessman".
