Designs
We provide comprehensive advice on all issues relating to designs. The following is a list of services that members of the patent group provide:
- Advising on patenting possibilities of design appearance of your articles, including preliminary patent searching and clearing.
- Preparing and filing design applications with the Patent office of the Russian Federation and any Patent Offices of other countries
- Providing with any legal support during design examination stages, including response to outstanding Office Action, attending to payment of registration fee, granting of patent and opposition proceedings
- Design renewing and payment of annuities;
- Negotiating, drafting and applying to the Patent Office for registration, modification and termination of licensing, assignment and franchising agreements regarding designs;
- Representing clients in patent opposition and cancellation proceedings, negotiating and litigating patent disputes in the Camber for Patent disputes, Anti-Trust authorities and commercial (arbitrazh) courts
- Providing validity and infringement opinions
- Providing transaction advice and due diligence in the evaluation and management of intellectual property in acquisitions, mergers, financings and bankruptcies
List of information we need for preparing and filing Industrial design application
To file a invention or utility model application we need:
- a brief description of design in respect of which the registration is being claimed,
- 8 clear representations of each variant,
- the Power of Attorney (simply signed, see below),
- full details about the Applicant (address, full name, nationality, etc.)
